On August 22, 2006, the City of Coppell City Council approved Ordinance No. 2006-1129 adopting the 2006 Standard Construction Details.

The details are available for sale in an 11" x 17" size ($25.00) or on CD ($10.00) in the Engineering Department at 255 Parkway Blvd.

All construction projects in Coppell are required to have a copy of the 2006 Standard Construction Details on the job site at all times.

Clarification:
4050 -    this detail shall apply to all gate valve construction 16" in diameter and smaller.
4060-1 - this detail shall apply to all horizontal gate valves larger than 16" in diameter.
4060-2 - this detail shall apply to all horizontal gate valves larger than 16" in diameter.
4070-1 - this detail shall apply to vertical gate valve installations larger than 16".
No bypass valve or manhole will be required for any vertical gate valve 16" in diameter or less.
4070-2 - this detail shall apply to vertical gate valve construction larger than 16" in diameter.
